Do I need any prior knowledge to start Japanese language classes?+

No prior knowledge is required. We welcome complete beginners and assess your level through a short discussion. Our courses start from the very basics — hiragana, katakana, and basic greetings — and progress step by step up to advanced conversational and business Japanese. We also offer level-appropriate classes for those who have some prior exposure to the language.

Do you help with JLPT preparation?+

Yes, we provide structured JLPT preparation guidance for all levels (N5, N4, N3, N2, and N1). Our preparation includes vocabulary building, grammar exercises, listening practice with audio materials, reading comprehension, and mock tests that follow the actual JLPT exam pattern. We also share tips on time management and question strategies used by successful test-takers.

What is the process to study in Japan from Nepal?+

The process typically involves: 1) Joining Japanese language classes and achieving at least N5 or N4 level, 2) Researching and selecting a language school or university in Japan, 3) Preparing application documents including academic transcripts, recommendation letters, and statement of purpose, 4) Applying to the institution and receiving a Letter of Acceptance, 5) Applying for a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) through the school, and 6) Submitting your student visa application at the Japanese Embassy in Kathmandu. How long does it take to get a Japan student visa from Nepal?+

The entire process — from language preparation to visa issuance — typically takes 6 to 12 months. Japanese language classes usually run for 3 to 6 months to reach a basic proficiency level. After that, the COE (Certificate of Eligibility) processing takes about 1 to 3 months, and the visa application at the embassy takes another 1 to 2 weeks. We recommend starting early to avoid last-minute rushing.

What JLPT level do I need to study in Japan?+

Most Japanese language schools require at least JLPT N5 or a minimum of 150 hours of Japanese language study. For vocational schools and undergraduate programs, N4 or N3 is typically expected. For graduate-level programs (master's, PhD), N2 or N1 is often required, especially for programs taught in Japanese. Some English-taught programs may have different requirements.
